New streaming series is poised to rock you house!
American promoter Danny Wimmer Presents has just launched a new streaming series featuring several rock artists: Foo Fighters, Metallica, Papa Roach, Pennywise and Helestorm.
Offstage With DWP will provide "exclusive and original content deeply rooted in the rock lifestyle that we all love and crave", such as live performances, acoustic sessions and / or exclusive interviews via YouTube, Facebook and Twitch.
"In this strange new world of COVID-19, many artists, venues and promoters have immersed themselves in the production of virtual content to keep the music alive and feed the souls of fans around the world," says the a statement by the promoter. “While we all miss the energy of live music, the content produced in this new era of social detachment is really bringing us together in ways we never imagined.
The series debuted with Metallica on June 14 (still available) with the concert held in 2017 at MAPFRE Stadium (Columbus, Ohio - United States). Foo Fighters is scheduled for June 20 with selected songs from their set at Sonic Temple last year. Interviews with members of Papa Roach, Shinedown, Lamb Of God and The Pretty Reckless, and acoustic sets by Rise Against and Halestorm are already planned.
