Darkside reconstructs his origins in “Fragments of Madness… At the Gates of Time”.

Atualizado: 13 de set. de 2020

New video will be released on July 30.

On the road since the '90s, Thrash Metal band returns to its origins with sharp rewrites of the demos of 91 and 93.

Formed in 1991, Darkside was born with the intention of making an instigating and heavy sound, rooted in the roots of Heavy and Thrash Metal from the '80s. In the first phase, 3 demo tapes were recorded: “Fragments of Time ”(91), “Gates to Madness” (93), “Blessed by the Dark” (96), the latter re-released on CD in 2000.

The demos re-recording project is old, having appeared shortly after the recording of Prayers in Doosmday (2012), the band's first album. The process, however, was lengthy, the band would still release the second album, “The Apocalypse Bell Part II: Legacy Of Shadows” (2015), before entering the studio for the re-recordings in 2016.

Considering the historical weight, the recordings counted with the participation, in addition to the formation of the “Legacy Of Shadows” period, several former members of the band, guaranteeing a reinterpretation that was both faithful to the past and the present of the band.

The result is a great Thrash Metal record, dating back to the origins of the 1980s with the benefits of new recording technologies.
