Zwaremachine and their related projects are wrapping up 2021 with a handful of news

Zwaremachine announces Ministry cover song, new Mach FoX EP and a collaboration called Fox Nova Project.

Zwaremachine - Effigy (Ministry cover)

The Sinners Day Festival is a 3 days festival, twice a year and has been going dark and strong since 2009. It is known as one of the yearly must see festivals in all of Europe and Zwaremachine performed on the same day as headliner Ministry. The bands confirmation for the 2022 festival coincidentally came during the same time that they were wrapping up the mix on their own take of the classic Ministry track Effigy (I'm not an) from the 1983 album With Sympathy.

Prior to this new cover version Zwaremachine bassist Dbot and vocalist Mach Fox used to perform the Ministry song together as Mach FoX band in the mid 2000s. This song was a band and crowd favorite so in 2021 Dbot provided a new instrumental track that the band could make their own.

Zwaremachine wanted to avoid a straight up cover version so Mach presented the vocals in his own bands style noting that it had a RevCo covering Ministry vibe. Mach then enlisted Syn Thetic from the band Malice Machine to add guitar and round out the song's synth heavy production.

Mach FoX - Hollow Moons EP

Time warped supercharged...nightmares and lucid dreams...not defined in black and white..or color. The 5 songs for this EP were written by Dbot and Mach FoX and mixed at The Terrarium Recording Studio in Mpls.Mn.USA with Jason Orris. These 5 songs were outtakes from the Zwaremachine - Conquest 3000 album sessions and both Dbot and Dein Offizier of Zwaremachine join Mach FoX on this release. The band felt these songs did not fit into the Zwaremachine sound and were better suited for the futuristic doompop style of Mach FoX.

The Hollow Moons single was originally released as free download on Oct. 1st 2021 and the title track for this EP has a new mix version.

Fox Nova Project - The Haunted The Hunted

Fox Nova Project (FNP) is U.S. based musician Mach Fox (Zwaremachine) and Australian musician Craig Saunders (Nova State Machine/Novakill).

Both Mach Fox and Craig Saunders are known for their work in the electro-industrial, ebm and aggressive synth genres and the nature of this new side-project meant that both musicians could take a different approach to arrangement and instrumentation while they freely explore styles that are not what they would typically release with their main musical projects.

The debut EP titled "The Haunted The Hunted" was released October 27th 2021 and includes 4 songs which they wrote and produced in summer 2021.
